Feeling nostalgic.
After attending a panel discussion hosted by Diana Arens, KAOS RADIO:An Independent
Legacy, hearing from some folks who have been instrumental in creating,
recreating and sustaining kaos over it’s nearly 45 year history I’m stoked.
Especially seeing the dj’s that were on the air when I first became excited
about radio.
Programs from around 2000 through 2005 hosted by Brooks
Martin, Diana Arens, Paul Pearson and Domenica Clark and many others were amongst
the most intriguing and sometimes challenging, surprising and engaging radio
experiences and inspired me to give it a try. It was like my musical life had
gone stale and then I found this station and suddenly there were multiple parallel
musical worlds that I had never heard and couldn’t stop listening. Soaking it
in.
So tonight I’m going back to 05 or 06 and for inspiration
and a bit of kaos nostalgia mixed with some more recent gems for our ears.
After attending the kaos panel discussion last weekend I was inspired.
