Thank you for your calls of support for KAOS. We are a listener supported, community station. Only 10 % of our funding comes from the CPB and that amount hinges on being able to show that we have listeners who value the service we provide. More contributing members equals more ability to provide public affairs programs...and it's how we can Stay Independent.

All our on air staff are Volunteers so the money generated from our membership drives goes to directly to paying for operating expenses and shows like Democracy Now and Pacifica's From the Vault series etc.
The Membership drive continues through the week so you can still go to www.kaosradio.org and join to support independent kaos radio.
