Next week will be a Christmas night show. It will be the first time I've been on the air on Christmas night and even tho it's just another Tuesday night it will be noteworthy and somewhat problematic. I will have had a very full day of family and fun and then will have to leave all that to go to the radio station and put on a program for those who have their radio on Christmas night. I'm not sure what listeners will be wanting to hear on a night like that, but I just spoke with my wife/partner and she said she might be interested in doing my show with me that night. I hope she will because then I wont have to go away and leave her alone Xmas night and it would be the first time we'd be on the air together!

Pledge drive over

Feeling abandoned.
I want to vent some anger and frustration with my membership drive shows. I think I've created a fairly good radio show.

So I'll just say I had a very a disappointing response last night to my pledge drive show and I'm rather sad about it. Where were you?

It's very difficult to have to repeatedly ask listeners to donate money even though I truly do believe in the station and the value of this kind of radio.

I put together a good program last night and if you didn't hear it you should have and if you haven't yet become a member of independent, non commercial community radio you should. It can't keep happening without listeners contributing.

Now I have to go to my stupid job where I earn stupid money. Ugh.

I think I've got it set up the way I want it for now. New blog colors etc.

On the 25th, Dancing in Circles will feature a set of music I've not tried before. I've been involved in co counseling for a couple years now and in the process of understanding myself past/present and confronting a number of issues that I and many other men/women face in trying to cope with difficulties in growing up and learning to think more clearly in any situation we are faced with. So this set, during the 'Kaos In Wonderland' segment, will focus on songs that tell a little of what has come up for me in the process of counseling. I'll call it My Adventures in Human Counseling for now. It'll be a bit personal ad subjective but you may enjoy the music too.
